This stuff is getting fairly routine, but I'm going to go ahead and post anyway, just to encourage others to do so. 75% of the homicides I find photos for are either drug or marriage related.

In this case, this 39 year old woman broke it off with her 49 year old husband. He swore, in front of several witnesses, that he would kill her dead for the affrontry. Apparently he then went away for a few days.

Unfortunately, he returned to make good on his promise. She had gone to a New Year's Eve party with some friends and the ex showed up armed and lethally jealous. So he opened fire on her, her dancing partner, and anyone else who happened to be around. Two other people were injured, though both survived.

The ex-wife, however, died on the makeshift dance floor in front of all her friends while the deranged hubby pulled stumps and ran.

No photos were provided for the injured party-goers, just a couple of the dead wife, which I will include here. Like I said, nothing special about the pics (unless you want to open a discussion on the inherent value of a unique human life, of course), but crime is crime and death is death and this is DR, so content is king. Yeah and they musta scattered like roaches under a strobe light. Usually with these scenes you see dozens of sandaled feet swarming all around the stiffs. But here, it's just this poor lonely dead chick on the 'dance floor'. I dunno, maybe the policia cleared the area. just surprised at the lack of bystanders, given that it was a semi-public place for a shooting. Not much blood either.

All in all, it's actually a pretty weak set. But it was new and now it is here, preserved in perpetuity.
