Couldn't they at least cover her with a sheet?
A sheet of what?? She will take the whole bolt**!!

**one bolt USUALLY holds 18-20 yards; 1 yard = 3 feet; ergo, 1 bolt = approx. 60 feet. Why you make me math?!?! I'm from 'merica, soooooooo, seamstressing sometimes gets fucked cuz I gots to use the metric system.......

[QUOTE=Killgaad;8000804]The company(ies) she bought her unhealthy food from should be hit with a class action lawsuit.

Ya, I get that we all could eat healthier. Beat me up for my pancakes.

But a person of this size is clearly far, far more ill than just some diet challenges.

Please be a little less harsh, and more understanding of an ill person with one or more serious diseases that moved her in this direction.

That’s a very large incision with some medical supplies still in place.
She was probably having a hernia surgery, given the location of not only that incision, but the other, smaller incisions too.

Re: Morbidly Obese Woman in a Casket

You should come hang out in the WC

Yeah, I know... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be a dick on purpose, buy I feel and react very passionately about certain things—and what the food 'industry' is doing to people is one of them.

For me, it's very hard to put a filter on visceral issues... but I've been trying.

Anyway, I'm sorry if my post offended you.

Regards.

The company(ies) she bought her unhealthy food from should be hit with a class action lawsuit.

Ya, I get that we all could eat healthier. Beat me up for my pancakes.

But a person of this size is clearly far, far more ill than just some diet challenges.

Please be a little less harsh, and more understanding of an ill person with one or more serious diseases that moved her in this direction.

I do appreciate your comment... perhaps you are right... I have been harsh... but truth doth taste rather bitter, doesn't it?

Respectfully, while I value your thoughts and feelings very much, I wager that her illness and "serious diseases" were caused by her being morbidly obese, and not the other way around.

It is true... I felt so much anger when I wrote, because the person is dead and buried now—after having endured all of that hideous, largely self-inflicted tragedy, which no person should be afflicted with in this short and, for many... miserable life; but please, consider that obviously, nothing that she or anyone else might have tried, to help her—entreating her with kindness—ever worked.

That is the morbid, unforgiving reality; death- and disability-portending reality, indeed—an ever-present reaffirmation and self-acceptance of weakness-as-addiction, and that of habitually enabling, self-destructive behavior—the denouement to which, brutally-adjudicated, reifies the unspeakably sordid and painful life-long travails which plagued and harangued her days, in the form of THOSE undignified remains—churned out in a crucible of bad-choice consequences and inadequate actions—*through blatant inaction.*

In contrast, through the necessary, willingly-accepted and eagerly acquiesced-to life-long revelatory pain, strength-building and ascendant, character-honing, painfully arduous experiences forged in the fiery furnace of self-denial, which sublimates the bittersweet, healing joys of Spartan discipline—life has taught me that, yes, harshness in-the-present, alone—without pity for oneself—will confer well-earned, guarded comfort in the future—not unlike a wise financial instrument, which only bears fruit at maturation, even as it accrues interest—piecemeal.

P.S. A part of me does feel as you do; I am not bereft of compassion—I simply instinctively avoid it, out of FEAR... as for the indolent—it can become self-indulgence.

Fear is good.

But addicts, you see, have no healthy dose of fear.

They're too busy seeking comfort.

I, for one, alas, choose to not to be a victim—of my own making.

Respect.
