Missing Young Lady Found Dead + Her Husband's the Main Suspect
At around 6am on 31st March 2014, in Eunápolis, the decomposing body of 20 year old Maria Bethânia de Jesus Góis was found. Maria had been missing for 2 days. The 37 year old husband of Maria, Douglas José dos Santos, denies involvement in the disappearance + murder. Douglas, who is a waiter, left for work at around 5pm on Friday 28th. He stated that he returned home, from work, at around 1am on Saturday 29th. Apparently, Maria was not at home, the door was open + 'the bed turned'. By the afternoon, her disappearance had been reported. Apparently, the black canvas that Maria's body was wrapped up in, is similar to what Douglas had asked a neighbour for. This was after Maria's disappearance + he had said it was to cover a hole in the roof of the house. An injury near the right eye of Douglas is to be investigated. It's suspected that Maria had been suffocated + there were faeces in her bed.              |

I propose the punishment for murder by asphyxiation is daily water boarding for 20 years or until death.

“...feces was found in her bed”. So let me get this straight- girl was missing for 2 days. He was her husband. Assuming they lived together, you mean to tell me he still probably stayed in that house with shit still in their bed? Interesting....  |
