GUYS! LOOK AT HIS HANDS! There are deep cuts on his knuckles/hand area! Generally that implies defensive wounds but since I can't clearly see them I can't say for sure. Sure they could have been from flailing around while hanging but they almost look degloved.
he was hanging so low that his hands were touching the ground so if he was there for a few days it seems possible that animals started to eat him...can't see any real detail in the pics.
