Mexican Police Officer Ambushed
These officers were ambushed while doing highway patrol, most likely cartel related.

Re: Mexican Police Officer Ambushed
That is what they are paid to do. It isn't heroic. It is just a job. They wouldn't do it if they weren't paid for it. Lots of them are punks as well. Some are honest and try to do their job, but they are often corrupt and tools of oppression.

Re: Mexican Police Officer Ambushed
Just like politicians are often corrupt. Things are rarely the way we want or the way they're supposed to be. It's sad how the ones that are supposed to have our back are often the least qualified for the job...power corrupts easily. Being a police officer or a fireman for example is heroic in a sense that it's damn dangerous (like many other jobs, don't get me wrong). Of course they wouldn't do it full time for free since all of us need money to support ourselves. As said, they're not saints but just regular people who make mistakes. |
