Mexican National Defense Killed 12 Cartel Members
In a confrontation with elements of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena), 12 alleged members of the Northeast Cartel were killed this Friday in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. The events occurred around 3:00 in the morning on a highway that connects to the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León. According to a Sedena report, the subjects wore uniforms similar to those of the Army and carried heavy-caliber weapons. After the confrontation, the authorities seized two Barrett rifles and eight AR-15s, with which the command attacked elements of the Sedena. In a statement, the Tamaulipas government indicated that another individual related to the events was later located, a few meters away, but his identity has not been confirmed. A source from the Tamaulipas Prosecutor's Office told the EFE agency that the subjects belonged to a group known as the "Tropa del Infierno", the armed wing of the CDN, whose practice, he said, is to clone the uniforms of the armed forces to confuse the authorities patrolling the area. The "Tropa del Infierno" are blamed for the kidnappings registered in Nuevo Laredo, because with the uniforms they pose as elements of the Army that carry out "arrests". Local press reports show that in recent months, the "Tropa del Infierno" has staged constant confrontations with elite groups of the Tamaulipas Police and against Army troops.     |

I appreciate the video, but I don't understand it at all. The guy is just shooting as he drives down a freeway. Half the time, there is no one in front of him. Who is he shooting at? I never did see them stop and engage someone.
