Re: Mexican Death Mix
Back in the prehistoric times of my youth, you had to mix your own "Chex Mix" recipes. Eventually, the makers of Chex cereal caught on and started selling the stuff premixed. I've never eaten the premixed stuff, but the Chex Mix my mom used to make was pretty groovy. |

Re: Mexican Death Mix
I'm pretty sure that you're not that much older than me (I may be wrong, I usually am, haha!). I couldn't work out whether they were cereal or some sort of savory mix (like pretzels + whatnot).

Re: Mexican Death Mix
A savory mix of cereal, pretzels, and nuts. as follows: 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 1⁄2 teaspoons seasoning salt 3⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder 3 cups Corn Chex 3 cups Rice Chex 3 cups Wheat Chex 1 cup mixed nuts 1 cup small pretzels I don't eat it often any more because of the salt and carb content. But if you enjoy savory/crunchy/salty snacks, I think you'd like it quite a bit. I think you are younger than me, but just to be sure, my incept-date year was 1971. |

Re: Mexican Death Mix
That Chex sounds absolutely gross, haha! Sorry! You finished school in 1971? Well, you're WAY older than me! I was born in 1983! I swear that I saw a photo of you in the 'member introduction section' (which seemed to have disappeared a while ago) + I don't recall you looking that old, haha!

Re: Mexican Death Mix
My "incept-date year" was the year of my birth, not graduation. So I was born in 1971, graduated high school in 1990, and got my first college degree in 1995. So old, but not THAT fucking old, lady. |
