Re: Medical Student Found Slashed in Her Room
You should see the ones they use in Cambodia, I find it so disrespectful.

Re: Medical Student Found Slashed in Her Room
I think i havent seen it, do you an example? I feel like this one isnt too disrespectful, after all the emoji is kinda fitting i guess, though it looks like an 8 year old did that. Mabye the emoji comforts the person editing the picture. |

The one in the following thread, 5th photo down, is a good example: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...ml#post6019241

Re: Medical Student Found Slashed in Her Room
Wow ,you're right, this is ridiculous. I wouldnt like to see this being done to someone i know. I wonder what kinds of people do this. I remember some people always try to have emojis in their snapchat photos. I just looked it up, both emojis (here and in the linked post) are those sticker emojis, that you can place in your snapchat photo after youve taken the photo and before you send it. I guess in these cases it was young adults or teenagers, that saw it, took a snapchat photo and added an emoji as they usually do and then sent it to their friends, so they can share their experience. And they also wouldnt just wanna send a picture of a dead person because thats pretty crude and shocking, so they use the emoji to make the picture less graphic and comfort the viewer, in a pretty disrespectful way. Thats the best possible explanation i can think of at the moment. I dont think anyone is going the extra mile to use emojis to censor a picture in photoshop or something. If thats the case, I dont know whether they dont sense that emojis are inapropriate as theyve grown up with them or they just really dont care about the dead persons family, but want to share the picture with their friends. And thank you very much for replying with an example :) |
