Medical Student Found Slashed in Her Room
Brazilian medical student who had been studying in Paraguay was found dead in her room in the border town where she lived. Someone was really fed up with her, too. The fatal blows were a deep stab to the chest and a deep stab to the throat. In addition to that, however, 16 more shallow, non-fatal knife wounds were inflicted in various places around her torso. The wounds were antemortem and delivered with only light force, so the police believe they were delivered in order to torture her and cause pain while she was held down. Furthermore, she was found with a white cloth on her face. The supposition is that the killer was holding it over her mouth and nose, both to inflict further fear and torture through suffocation and to keep her screams from being heard by neighbors. Once the stab to the throat was inflicted, she seems to have spewed out a large out of blood through her mouth, soaking the rag. Her blouse was pushed up with her breasts exposed by the killer. The police said her pants and panties were in place and intact, but they were not ruling out sexual assault until after the rape kit is returned. Bloody drag marks on the floor indicate that her body was prostate and dragged for several feet at one point, likely by her ankles. Because of the position of her body and the dried blood and urine beneath and around her body, it is likely that she was still alive when he dragged her and she breathed her last in the spot where she was discovered. No arrests yet but two poi. One of the suspects, according to the former mayor,(her father) is that the crime was committed by an electrician who would have gone to the university house to get a shower. "He was known to her and the other student who lived with her. He is a married man and one of the suspects, "he said. He also suspects her ex-boyfriend. However, at first the father of the victim tells that the boy, as soon as he knew of the crime, called to him lamenting the death and following the services of the police. "He's in town. They dated, but the courtship ended. Beautiful woman with a possible great career ahead killed by jalousy or lust. |
