Man Wrecks His Pickup - Found a Year Later
Nothing super gorey on this one but an interesting story that happens more than we think it does. In this case, a man was driving home one night...but never arrived. Searches found no trace of the man. A year after he went missing, some locals found the wreck of a pickup truck at the bottom of a deep ravine. The pickup truck showed signs of having burned and was covered in rust. Further inspection found that in the cab of the truck was a human skeleton. Authorities checked records and realized that this wreck was the missing man's truck and the bones were his. Above the area where the pickup truck was found, is a sharp bend in the road. Police theorize that the driver lost control and rolled 50 meters down the embankment where his truck landed and caught fire. Mae Chaem, Thailand, May 12, 2016. |

nice pics I hope the deep ravine near the sharp curve wasn't on the missing person's route home...if so that search crew from when he went missing is totally fired!! |

Re: Man Wrecks His Pickup - Found a Year Later
In Tucson, on the road to Mt. Lemmon, which is very curvy and has thousand-foot dropoffs, when they were improving the road, they found a sports car with a skeleton in it. It was from a college student that disappeared in 1976. He went over the edge and no one saw it. The wreckage was hidden by the scrub brush. This was back in the 1990's.
