Man Slashed Wife's Throat After Dispute Over Tobacco Harvest
In West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia, a 37-year-old man, identified only as E.S., murdered his 31-year-old wife, Rahmawati, with a machete. E. and Rahmawati had been in an argument over plans to harvest tobacco, and E. claimed his wife insulted him. E. then got out a machete, and murdered Rahmawati, slashing her neck and mostly severing a hand. Neighbours, having noticed E. carrying a bloodstained machete, went into their house and found Rahmawati's corpse. E. surrendered himself to the police shortly afterwards. |

Re: Man Slashed Wife's Throat After Dispute Over Tobacco Harvest
Tobacco leaves are being planted and harvested in Central Java. They're used in cigarettes.
