Man Shot 16 Times in His Own Backyard
A 33 year old man was shot 14 times by a 9mm and twice by a 12 gauge shotgun, around midnight on the 13th Feb. The police were called just after midnight but the coroner and forensics didn't arrive until this morning, so the dead body was there all night. No other info as of yet.         |

I could be wrong - but it looks like leaf and debris (of the same colour as the ground) is blocking his shoe, making it look peeled and tattered.
