Loan Shark Murdered in His Own Home.
A 53 year old man was killed on the evening of Tuesday the 11th Feb, at the house where he lived alone. Residents heard about five shots, but the victim was hit with two in the neck and head and died near the door of the residence. The police found signs of forced entry at the front door of the house where the victim lived. Locals informed the police that the victim was retired, and had recently received about 10 thousand reais and was scheduled to travel to Sao Paulo, but also lent money at interest. Neighbours reported that the victim was a quiet person, but was involved with drug use. According to the police, the victim had his name mentioned in a rape complaint and was arrested for the crime. The police do not have information on the motivation nor the possible perpetrator of the crime. |
