You can see his arm is mangled too. I wonder if it got between one of the blasts, or was mangled from the exit wound. Actually, I'm really curious what the exit wound would look like.

He was shot at close range. The balls of shot didn't have time to disperse. Double aught balls are 0.33" (8.4 mm) in diameter. |
