Man Murdered On Railroad Tracks
Or so it seems. I don't know what to make of this picture, but it's bothering me. It looks like a homicide and it looks like he's strapped to railroad tracks of some sort. Also appears to be from Brazil or some other Latin American nation, though I couldn't tell for sure. It's been floating around for a while, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's been posted here before but I couldn't find it anywhere.  · |

He could've been restrained on the tracks just enough to keep him there until the train arrived. Of course it's hard to tell now…

It is weird.....aside from being all bent outta shape, he doesn't appear to have the trauma to his body that one would expect from being slaughtered by a train.

A repost, I know, but a worthy one. This photo is old as dirt, but I have always found it so damn fascinating. I could never figure out, for the life of me, whether this was homicide, suicide or an unlikely freak accident. Looks more like an electrocution victim than a train death to me. So "suicide" is my best guess. Does anybody have any more background info on this?  · |

I've never seen this. Thanks for posting it. I think it looks like electrocution, too. Looks like he was on his knees when he bought it, and the current pushed him back.

You're welcome. Do you think was this a suicide? I have heard of suicide by electrocution on the train tracks before, but never homicide. |
