Why is thinking about a way to fix a problem instead of killing an entire breed of dog a "Obama fueled pussy mentality"? Its like you people have been convinced that reacting based solely on emotion is smart and the right thing to do and anyone who thinks about shit is a pussy. Fuck you people I hope to see you on here one day.

My thinking on this is that these dogs should be kept away from kids and on muzzles when out. It's not down to probability, it's down to possibility, and the possibility that these dogs can do major damage with their strength and strong jaws and teeth is there. If anyone chooses to keep one of these as a pet knowing that, then that is their choice.

Like to here the story, behind this, done a good number on his face.... Had boxer dogs for years, but I would never leave them with kids, or strangers, and we all know how daft boxer are, with pit bulls , you have to be very very vigilant, even then, still no guarantee nothing will happen... Is it worth the risk future owners must ask the self's... Not for me.

When I too young to remember my parents owned a German Shepard and a chiwawa. The Shepard was a nice dog unless you walked on our property and he didn't know you.

The chiwawa on the other hand was an evil bastard and would take your finger off no matter who you were, even to my mom and dad. They kept their distance. Everyone always tells me how bad that little dog was. Very mean and vicious, and if you don't think those little dogs can do damage you're are very mistaken.

Now I own a pitbull like I said and when it sees anyone(even strangers) it jumps on them and licks them to death.
