The Mirror tabloid (England) is currently running a story about Pitt Bulls, and how any dangerous dog should be banned, I have a tiny Jack Russell that would bite if severely provoked, should he be euthanized for getting the hump with someone, or could it be that they deserved it.
Having just made that statement, I would not let a Pitt Bull loose unsupervised with kids, but only because every one and every thing has a breaking point, and kids unwittingly would push and push until the pooch got the hump and bit them.
I would be more inclined to euthanize the dog's owner.

BTW 99% of related "pitbull" attacks aren't pitbulls at all, the media and u dummies don't even know what a APBT looks like.

These agressive attacks are commited by mixed breed dogs that are usually mixed with an American staffordshire cross usually consisting of Staff and bulldog...this is meant to give these dog their big bulky look. Real "pitbulls" dont look like their on steroids and have distinct stance to their short stature and slim muscular frame. Another clear hint that these dogs are A.S. and not ABPT is the distinctive "box" head shape with the distinctive split or groove which is well pronounced in American Staffordshire breeds.

Breeding practices have changed tha face of tha real APBT to tha monster you find in modern day "pitbull" attacks.
Any real pitbull attack you'll find is an attack on other dogs and rarely on ppl. APBT are dog agressive, not human agressive.

These human attacks are commited by dogs bred to look like pitties, u know why? No u don't so I'll tell you...Its called pit fights.
