The body of an unidentified man was yesterday (13th February 2012) found in waters in the vicinity of the Guyana National Industrial Cooperation wharf. Ranks from the marine police station retrieved the body and took it to the station wharf at Riverview. The man, who is of East-Indian decent, was found clad in a black T-shit and a pair of black and gray underpants. His T-shit was slogan “I (love) Beijing”.
He had lengthy hair and was light brown in complexion. The man bore a long scar on his right side abdomen and seemed as though he had cleft palate
The man’s decomposed body suggested that he was in waters for quite some time. His skin had begun to peal while his body had already became a meal for water creatures.

This newspaper understands that guards from the GNIC wharf, who noticed the floating body, informed marine police of the find.
