Man (38) Shoots at Police and then Commits Suicide
Happened last Saturday (Dec 10) in Athens, Greece. I don't know how to remove watermarks and there aren't many pics of this, photos of dead people rarely go public in this country. If someone can get rid of the watermarks let me know. It seemed quite stupid at first when they released it, the press stated that a man opened fire at police officers when they tried to search him (randon searches on people are common here). He fired three shots, then ran to the back of a nearby building and put his brainbox out of service. One police officer was injured and is being treated at a hospital. Other sources say he left a note before shooting himself in the head, but it's not confirmed yet. Additional info has been released after the body was identified. He was a 38-year old inmate who breached a short leave from prison and escaped. He was convicted to life sentence for armed robbery and murder in 2004. Enjoy. From the land where prisoners are allowed to go on a leave. |

Re: Man (38) Shoots at Police and then Commits Suicide
I tried removing the watermarks using the automated methods I used to use when modifying images for Cracked.com submissions, but in this case the end result was worse than just living with the watermarks. Too many distortions were introduced. One might be able to reduce their impact manually, but it would take a fair amount of effort that in the end might still be worse than just living with the watermarks. |
