Dead Foreigner Found on Beach
13th December 2016, Sihanoukville beach, Cambodia - the dead body of a 'foreigner' (non Cambodian) was found on the beach of the popular resort of Sihanoukville. The man's identity or nationality was not known, but I hope to see some 'passport shots' soon. The man had lacerations to the sides of his head, and it is thought he had been beaten with a length of wood found at the scene. The guy looks to have been living al-fresco, possibly destitute and begging. This is not an uncommon situation for tourists in Cambodia who have lost, or had stolen passports, bank/credit cards and other documents and ID. Foreign Embassies in Cambodia are often unable, or unwilling to help. The body was taken to the local hospital for storage, and when his nationality is ascertained, the relevant Embassy will be expected to repatriate the corpse, at the cost of the relevant countries tax-payer. ****UPDATE**** The man was allegedly a German expat and bar owner living in Sihanoukville. |

Re: Dead Foreigner Found on Beach
You are not alone. I would not go to Cambodia on a 100 thousand Euro bet. It makes New York City look like the Main street at Disneyland! Savages!
