When my boyfriend died, it was open casket and I could clearly see the sutures from his autopsy on his scalp. From behind his ears. He had a buzz cut. I didn't see this in any of these pictures. Not a single one. Why?

I realize that. I thought autopsies were a necessity for violent deaths. It was pretty awful for me to see. The whole thing was awful, but I'll always remember those Frankenstein sutures. I dunno, thought seeing it on others would soothe me. Thanks for the reply. My head still floats away when I think of such things. Facts are nice.

In Ireland wakes are regularly held in the kitchen. So Its not weird at all.
