I think the Mutter Museum is better....call me a pussy, but I find this sort of disrespectful, unless the dead bequeathed their bodies for something like this.

I wish there were pictures of each plaque, I'd like to know all the causes of death. And Daveizgod: they did donate their bodies to science, at least that's what those plaques say. |

Re: Life Museum Thailand - Female & Male Cadavers
The two plaques say they died of HIV / AIDS and that the 2 women were "sex workers". Those displays suck, look like unwrapped 3000 yr old mummies. At our Chicago Museum of Science and Industry there is a better display, a woman who has been sectioned into slices and the slices are between glass. There have been complaints over the years because the sectioned person was a poor *******. Anyway, when I die I hope to replace her in the display, and you can all marvel at cross sections of my large, uncircumsized and well used penis... |

I wonder why these bodies are mummified. Sure there are other ways to preserve their bodies and display them in a nicer more presentable state. This is the 21 century after all.
