Young woman was out at a karaoke bar with several friends. They'd been partying all evening, though according to witnesses she was partying very lightly and had consumed only several orange sodas and no booze.

She got up and did a number, then sat back down at the table with the others, drank another orange soda, and continued socializing. About 5 or 10 minutes after her last karaoke performance, she started gasping, turned blue, urinated all over herself, and then slumped unconscious. Her friends called the ambulance and tried to administer CPR, but she was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, possibly before.

The police were quite concerned as to why an otherwise-healthy young woman dropped dead in such a manner after drinking a few orange sodas. Unfortunately, her family was adamant that no autopsy be performed, so the investigation stalled. The cops interviewed her friends, who corroborated one another's statements. The police worried that she may have been deliberately poisoned or that someone at the bar was spiking drinks and she had a bad reaction.

But in light of the family's refusal to allow an autopsy, they had to close the case with the results of the visual inspection at the morgue. Her cause of death was determined to be lack of oxygen. Whether it was through accidental choking, overdose, homicide, or some undiagnosed heart defect, the world will never know. Her family had the body buried the next morning.

By the looks of it, it happened in an Islamic country (probably Indonesia because you can see a woman with a black hijab in the 2nd to last picture).

Even in death, Islamic views on female chastity and purity prevent female autopsies since the body would be compromised and the corpse viewed by a medical examiner.

In Islam, you can jihad all you like, suicide bomb some poor Hindus, behead some hapless Christians/Jews or Apostates, kill over cartoons.

But Allah forbid if you ever touch pork, forget to pray 5 times a day, or compromise a women's chastity! Then.. then you're in big TROUBLE!!

As i parent i def would try to find out what caused my daughter's death but like the above said religion probably prevents that.

Even though the family refused to do an autopsy, police will continue to make an investigation. Police sent the laboratory the soft drink that the victim drank. Who knows, in the drink there is a content of dangerous substances that can cause the victim to die.
She was 36 so maybe some underlying heart disease?

I can’t fathom my daughter dying in some strange situation and not trying to find the cause.
