A man and woman, both 38 years old, were walking home from dinner with their 10 year old child when they were assaulted by a gunman. Several shots were fired at the family, with the 10 year old getting the luckiest. She wasn't hit at all. The man was hit three times, in the back, the abdomen, and the arm, but was taken to the hospital where he is in recovery.

The 38 year old woman was only hit once, but it was a head shot and reports said that she dropped dead in the street, killed instantly.

The couple's families insist that they were law-abiding citizens who operated a small electronics repair shop and that this was a simple robbery gone wrong. However, several witnesses informed journalists that the shop was a front for drug activity and that both the woman and the man had narco ties. The killing is assumed to be drug-related at this point, but that is not conclusive and may never be.

The photos aren't the best quality. Some are better than others, but at least most are uncensored. Someone needs to buy these fucking newspaper photographers some better equipment for night-shooting.

Well, according to witnesses she dropped stone dead on the spot after her head blew apart. He had multiple injuries and, judging by the blood on the street, was rolling around a bit. He's still alive in all the pics and sort of sitting up and facing the camera in at least 2 of them.

10 year old can move on with her life.........she was witness to her parents being shot, somehow she survived. She’s 10. I know kids are resilient but this is going to take years of therapy to...”now move on with her life”.
Survivors guilt. Nightmares of seeing her parents shot up with blood pouring out of them. Maybe she was even sprayed with their blood, and the smell of the blood, bullets, air, I can’t imagine if that happened, it’ll be easy to forget. Not understanding why or who or maybe they’ll come after her since they didn’t shoot her the first time.
