Jose Victor Villarreal, Brother of Alicia Villarreal, Killed in 2009 Crash
In the early hours of Saturday October 10, 2009, Jose Victor Villarreal Esparza, 36, the brother of Mexican singer Alicia Villarreal, was killed after the red Chevrolet Corvette he was driving left the lateral road of Avenida Paseo de los Leones in Monterrey, became airborne and rolled over. Contemporary press reports blamed excessive speed, while Alicia said in 2022 that he had a heart condition, suffered a heart attack while driving and died before the collision. Alicia Villareal is indeed a big latin american singer - or was, as her popularity has been falling due to various contriversies including fights with Selena's family. Here's the blurb on this: Alicia Villareal’s brother, Jose Victor Villareal Esparza, died over the weekend in a car accident.
