im glad my great great great grandmother left, so fucking stupid, this is why im not a stereotypical irish pride fuck in the US sorry its no different than the mexicans flying mexican flags, choose a side and go live there and stop acting like you were born there when its been 5 generations, be proud of who you are and dont act like you were born somewhere else or act like someone who was your ancestor, i have irish,english,swiss, and scots blood in me but i dont care, i was born in Texas, fuck these idiots killing people who,that science has shown, are ethnically the same blood ,europe needs to unite while revitalizing nationalism, and kick out the REAL invaders, come on spain how about the Reconquista part 2 'with a vengeance' or something dumb like that

Everyone has an opinion, usually based on crap! I think the word "occupied" is somewhat overstating it. There is a minority in Ulster who want a one nation island. The majority don't and it isn't about religion either. I've spent time in Belfast and come from the Irish Republic and joining a modern Ulster with the Irish Republic would ruin both. The Irish Republic simply could not afford it and the Northern Irish wouldn't want to lose the huge funding paid by Great Britain. Most Northerner's would prefer to stay British thanks very much. All internal security and policing is provided not by the army but by Ulster's own Police. Northern Ireland has rejected terrorism by all sides and has become a great state in it's own right.
