Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Here is a small clip of Toms crash as was seen on TV in 75 (so you can get an idea of the pics/video), followed by his blowing by Rick, Al Jr and then Al Sr in 83 After he passes Al Sr. with 3 laps to go he opens it up and leaves everybody in the dust. Amazing finish to an amazing 500 for all involved, sans Roger Penske dumb ass |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
You have got to love the Indy Fire Crews, when Toms car comes to a stop the crew truck is there in 3 seconds and the first crew member is out and spraying the fire in under 5 seconds Same with Dan On The Gas in 81 If Dan and Tom had crashed like that over in Europe the first marshall on the scene would either get run over, forget his fire extinguisher, or just stand there and do nothing Just kidding to all members in over in Europe (well kinda kidding) |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
He walked away for sure which was amazing You could tell he was hurting, but that he was ok The most amazing thing is that today if Tom wrecked that way he would expected to walk away, back in 75 everyone thought he was dead, when he got out and waked away everyone thougfht it was a sign from god Im working on a post right now |
