today a crash occured at the f1 suzuka gp involving jules bianchi. if anyone can provide info, pics or even a video it would be much appreciated  besides: ultra awesome thread !  |

Looks like he went under the crane, and that track workers put the Cowl back on the chassis before the car was removed

Further news is that a regular feature in this thread - Andrea De Cesaris was killed in a motorbike crash in Rome. He was 55 and somehow to have survived all his efforts in here to die on a street at a relatively young age seems somewhat unjust. Latest on Bianchi seems more positive, still critical but breathing unassisted and out of surgery. By the way, some fools are posting last year's crash in Japan as this year, fortunately not in this discerning thread I'm glad to say. |

Tragic news about the sad loss of Andrea de Cesaris....  Andrea's career from 1980 Alfa Romeo through to Jordan and Sauber in 1994. 214 GP's with 208 starts, 59 points, 4 podiums with a best result of 2 second places, one pole and one fastest lap.
