Ted Foltz crashes out during the Teller County Hill Climb in 1984 after hitting a ridge and turning over three times at over 100mph. Ted was hospitilised with serious chest injuries but made a full recovery.

Salt suffered burns over 40% of his body and lost a number of fingers on his left hand and badly crushed fingers on his right.

Onofre Marimon was a works Maserati driver in 1953/54 and had a couple of third place finishes during his ten starts.

In practice for the German GP 1954 his car plunged through a hedge, somersaulting down the bank and killing Onofre instantly.

Angelo Bergamonti's fatal crash during the wet road race around the streets of the Italian city of Riccione on the 4th of April 1971. Angelo fell off of his MV Agusta on lap seven of the 350cc event, when in second place chasing team leader Giacomo Agostini. He hit his head on a retaining wall after slidding along with the bike and suffered fatal head injuries as well as multiple fratures of his arms and legs. He would lose his fight for survival later in hospital.

Bergamonti rode for the works MV Agusta during 1970 and '71, winning the 350cc and 500cc races at Spain in 1970.

Spanish motorcycle racer Ramon Torras fatal crash during the 1965 Trofeo Brisamar in the streets of Comarruga, Spain. He fell late in the race when catching the leader when he slid on the poor surface and hit a number of trees inflicting terrible injuries.

Torras finished 8th in the 250cc World Championship.
