Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
From page 36. Another near death experience for Clay Regazzoni, this is by far the clearest quality picture of the wrecked Ensign. Its amazing that anyone could get out of this wreck alive. Sadly Clay's luck would run out and he was killed in a road accident in Italy on 15th December 2006. |

Its not often you will see this, F1 cars racing in the snow... Ronnie Peterson during the 1973 International Trophy non-championship F1 race at Silverstone. Peterson managed to finish 2nd even with the spin, during a brief snow flurry, behind Jackie Stewart's Tyrrell. |

Ayrton Senna's massive practice crash at Monaco 1993 in his McLaren MP4/8 - Ford Cosworth V8. He went on to win the race, his last at the principality.

Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini takes out BRM team leader Graham Hill, at the hairpin on lap 31 of the Mexican GP 1964, damaging Hill's car and when Jim Clark breaks down on the last lap, handing the World Championship to Bandini's Ferrari teammate John Surtees.

From page 56. The first two photos were on the above post but these ones are bigger and the third I had never seen before. The third photo particularly shows just how lucky John was not to be dicapitated... |

A couple of crashes from the Spa 1000 km 1989. The first is the Group C2 Spice of Pierre-Alain Lombardi and the second is the Porsche 962 of Vern Schuppan. |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Late in the Canadian GP of 1977 and initially Riccardo Patrese spun his Shadow into the abandoned Hesketh of Rupert Keegan. Then Mario Andretti laid oil on the track and Brambilla spun his Surtees into the stationary cars which were very nearly followed by Danny Ongais in his Interscope Penske who spun but was able to continue. The first photo is of the second Surtees of Hans Binder who spun out on lap 31.
