Karl Kling crashes his stream-lined Mercedes W196 at the Italian GP at Monza in 1954. Kling took part in 11 Formula One Grand Prix, debuting on 4 July 1954. He achieved 2 podiums, and scored a total of 17 championship points. |

Argentine driver Guido Falaschi was killed in a crash at the Juan Manuel Fangio track during the final lap of a race in the most popular motor sport competition in the South American country, the Turismo de Carretera. Falaschi lost control, hit a retaining wall, swerved back onto the track and was hit by a car driven by Nestor Girolami.

The remains of of Jan Kopecky's Skoda Octavia WRC Evo3 after a crash on the 2003 Rallye Matador Tatry. Co-driver Filip Schovánek broke an ankle and both suffered concussion.

Some great photo's taken from the crowd of Salt's crash and aftermath that I don't remember seeing before... The fifth photo shows Wally Dallenbach who was the first person to get to Salt's car, just before the safety officials. The last couple of images are Salt from the '70's and a recent one from the Hocking Correctional Facility in Ohio where he was imprisoned over drugs convictions. |

Wow, I have never seen the ones taken from the crowd Those are amazing It makes you wonder, how many photos like these are out there taken by spectators that have never been shown to the public I have heard that there were dozens of spectators who took photos of Gordon Smileys crash that have never been shown outside the person(s) who took them These are the kind of photos that get me excited like 15 years ago when a new photo or video was found |

The Walther-Dallenbach picture converted to 3D anaglyph: Using red/cyan 3D glasses, both of Walther's hands can be seen clearly reaching out from under the car.
