Sorry yes I had a brain fart when I wrote that! What I meant was that because it doesn't ignite as quickly it is being compressed for longer. You put it much more eloquently!

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
I hate to quote myself but this alternate angle really shows how violent Sneva's crash really was The fact that he walked away made the entire crowd at IMS gasp with disbelief If he had crashed like that just a few years before he may have died It took the lives of Pollard and Savage and the healt of Walther to wake up the ones in charge of safety at IMS If Sneva would have died we all would havce missed out on the best driver in traffic of all time I dare somebody to name another driver better in traffic You cant, its impossible |

Re: Indy/Formula One: Fatal and Non Fatal Crash Photos (Stop Motion, Color, B&W)
Two fatalities at the 2012 Macau Grand Prix supporting events this weekend. Hong Kong racer Phillip Yau in a Chevrolet Cruze crashed at the high speed Mandarin Bend on the Guia Circuit and caught fire. Hong Kong media said Yau, who was driving a qualifying session for the CTM Macau Touring Car Cup, hit the barrier at more than 200 kilometres an hour. Portuguese motorbike rider Luis Carreira was killed in an accident on Thursday. Carreira, an experienced Isle of Man TT rider, came off his Suzuki at a sharp corner and his bike burst into flames. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead 20 minutes after arrival. The Macau Grand Prix, now in its 59th year, features four days of races for both professionals and amateurs, including the touring car cup, the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix. Macau, the world's only international street circuit meeting with both four- and two-wheeled races on the same programme, has helped launch the careers of a host of Formula One champions including Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. |

You have once again outdone urself buddy! I love ALL the posts that EVERYONE shares on here, but I have a love of IMS and anything related to it is right up my alley. Awesome vid AK. That last clip once again shows the danger of the unseen flames of the old methanol fuel we have all talked about recently. Gotta give ya an "Atta Boy!" for this one. |

Norberto Bagnalasta's fatal crash at the Italian Formula 3 Championship race at Monza in 1964 driving a Lotus 20. Norberto crashed into the stalled car of Giuseppe Colnaghi at the start, rolling over and damaging the roll bar. This inflicted fatal head and neck injuries. |
