Indonesian Ritual of Ma'nene: Exhuming Your Ancestors Every Three Years
Indonesian ritual carried out every three years to honor the deceased. Villagers in South Sulawesi Province believe their dead ancestors are still with them, even if they have been death for hundreds of years. The clothing is changed each time to bodies are exhumed.
