Re: Incorrupt Bodies (Catholic Saints)

I got touched with a relic from this guy in 8th grade

John Neumann, former bishop of Philadelphia. Turns out the priest who had a profound love for this guy constantly used a cross with a glass case in the middle... happened to hold a bone from his finger in it. They even have the step he died on inside of the basement... my friend touched it, pulled me to the side, and told me his hand was on fire

Re: Incorrupt Bodies (Catholic Saints)

I saw the same thing happened to a Muslim's body too so dont connect it to Catholic Saints or Christianity
I know, just this post was Catholic saints. Then again, some Buddhists are incorrupt as well. I'm just most familiar with Catholic saints because I went to a Catholic school.

Sounds creepy. As in, loving someone and keeping their remains...?

Re: Incorrupt Bodies (Catholic Saints)

Very interesting. I wonder what Sister Teresa's body looks like?

Re: Incorrupt Bodies (Catholic Saints)

The church claims so, but some of the 'bodies' on display are in fact wax figures, but with the real bones inside. It is also common to have relics- locks of hair, bones, hearts, tongues, and other remains on display.
