Interesting point!

Watermarking is, as you understand, something not everybody appreciates due to overall image interference.

They are put there by personal choice of the thread poster to prevent other sites uploading them. However, it's not a compulsory thing to do and users are free to use them or not.

Incessant whinging by someone will - if seen by the team - be dealt with typically by a private message unless they're in trolling territory and then a warning/infraction given.
