Now we know why Samurai used katana for thousands of years...... VERY effective killing machines.
The victim had 42 wounds and bled to death. Would not call that an effective use of the weapon. This is not to say katanas are not effective, but this particular case shows just how unskilled with katana was the murderer.

Probably one of those decorative ones you see in malls and not one actually designed for combat. Kid probably sharpened it himself.
