^^ That! You can swing around a properly made broadsword or a sabre all day long and at best you will have a lot of holes in your drywall or sliced up furniture, pets and housemates. And very sore arms and upper torso musculature.

But katanas... unless I am buying one to put it through my navel and out my back (which I'd really want to do some day soon, that urge grows by the day), I'd never buy one for anything else.
