At least he went head first, imagine if he'd gone legs first and felt every second of that roller going over him. I still don't know how someone gets steamed by a roller though... |

digging up a 4 year old thread here but i never saw this when it was uploaded.. and i found it on google looking for "road roller death" info.. and came across this and it's FUCKING WOAH so.. i'm just going to say i work with these 30 000# fuckers and they are not as slow as you might think.. their working speed is indredbly slow but they have a travel gear that can definitely outrun a human and maybe a dog or rabbit?? my $.02: guy who got hit was working with the shovel seen in the second pic..below the gravel on the paved road, scooping up loose gravel from the paved road below.. roller was working the fresh laid gravel line using the rear view mirror.. the shovel guy's upper body got clipped by the roller and he fell sideways into it (his head and arms are crushed but nothing else).. holy fuck deadly.. .. basically my worst nightmare  |
Run over by a slow cumbersome steam roller??? Had it been on 'Pimp My Ride' or something??
