on a inner city street underpass, i saw a street bitch laying inert on the sidewalk. two of her junkie buddies, a guy and a girl, were looking at her as a EMT wasted my tax money in saving her. I was horrified at the sight - not of the repeat overdosing drug addict, but that people who do a noble things in life, studied the test, passed and became EMTs, are applying their smarts and hearts to dealing with the lowest slug forms of life when they knock on death's door
