I hope it gets more solved now, they know the person but maybe they can retrace the steps better? I wonder if the parents and family still had hope that she would be living somewhere. Must be horrible to see the pictures finally

Too bad nobody thought to get the DNA BEFORE she left the coroner. Standard practice then in the US and hopefully now in international departments.

It was SOP in some parts of Europe at the time of her death, but not at all in Spain. Not for about 10-12 years after the fact, unfortunately.

I agree, the height from her feet to the ground look very high for her to get the rope around the tree then tie the knots then get her head in the noose. Something is really off here. Did they know how she hung herself on a side cliff like that? It's weird. What did she say to her sister the last days she was with her? Her sister would know the most as she was the last to see her.

I wonder if they got DNA from the rope, it may show a DNA different from hers if someone else handled it. I also wonder if it was suicide, did she get the rope. Did she take it with her, find it somewhere along the way, or buy it from a store? If it was from a store the purchase could have been traced.
