Residents of Dusun Sarampu I, Kuajang Village, Binuang District, are shocked by the tragic events of a woman who was found dead by hanging herself in her room, on Sunday (2/11/2025) around 14.30.

The victim is identified as Raina S. A. R. (19), a local citizen.

According to the initial investigation, the victim allegedly suffered depression after being scammed with online transactions through the Telegram application.

Before ending her life, the victim was able to leave two letters containing the expression of her heart and an apology to her parents.

In the letter, the victim wrote she was deeply sorry that her parents' savings ran out as a result of being scammed online.

According to the witness statement of Amir, who is the victim's neighbor, the incident was first known to the victim's younger brother, Aldi R. (12 years old).

Aldi came to Amir's house to ask for help to open the door of his sister's bedroom because he had been knocking on her door for a long time but got no response.

The two then went to the victim's house and forcefully opened the bedroom window. When the window managed to open, they were shocked to see the victim's body hanging by a string of nylon tied to the roof of the room.

Seeing the incident, witnesses immediately called the residents for help.

At this moment, the victim's body is cremated in the funeral home in Dusun Sarampu I, Kuajang Village.

Families are still waiting for the arrival of the two victims' parents.

27 year old Karla Robles hanged herself in a livestream on TikTok after posting the message "Take care of your mental health, my friends."

She had been in an abusive relationship and, while it was determined that her death was not a homicide, a forensic exam of her phone did indicate that he had been telling her for months that she was better off dead and that she should kill herself. It was also determined that he watched and recorded the broadcast of her hanging.

That Karla one is tragic. She is the type of gal to not even need makeup to exude beauty, but some lesser man successfully capitalised on her insecurity to make her believe she is not.

Indeed, be careful of the activity of the mind, and even more careful about external influences on it.
