Thai doesn't translate very well in most of my online translators, so it is always a crapshoot with these images. The story mentioned that the girl had 'been otherwise hurt' and that it wasn't her first suicide attempt. I assume that you're correct and the bandage is from cutting, but for all I know it could just be a sprained wrist.

Prior attempt makes the most sense, though, and seems to fit with the half-assed translation I was able to cobble together.

35 year old woman hung herself on a tree and was found shortly thereafter by her daughter. Here she is cut down. Sorry for the censor blur-it was on the original image and I can't find a copy that doesn't feature it. Beggars. Choosers. You know the drill.

I have two questions:
1. I seem to remember that in the past, most videos posted here were downloadable by the viewer. This does not seem to be the case at present. any reasons?

2. A fiction writer first pointed out to me that many girls when they hang end up with their thumbs inside their fists. I noticed that many in the pics here show this phenomena. Is there any explanation for this?

It's called posturing. A sign of severe brain trauma, which obviously occurs during hanging.
