Today, October 16, in the Samara region of the Dnieper, a local resident found a hanged woman.She looks 40-45 years old.The arriving police officers identified the victim.Svetlana Makhanek left home on October 12 at 6.30. It is known that the last time a woman was seen near the Lyubimovsky forestry on the Pridneprovsk railway station. There, the minibus driver dropped her off at the bus stop.

Not exactly great material, but still an interesting case: Due to the Covid lockdown the buisiness of Mr. Pal went bankrupt. He was trading fertilizer at the local market. As a consequence he couldn't repay several loans from the months before. The burden of this debt was to much and the whole family committed suicide at their home. The bodies of Mr. Pal, his wife and their three daughters were found on sunday. The oldest daughter (25) already graduated and worked as teacher at the local school. Wounder why she was part of this suicide pact...

Okay, so I have had -some- luck. Thailand is always tough. I can already tell that if I'd heard about this event the day it happened I woulda had a goldmine. As it is, well, we'll make do with what we have.

So the first video I'll include below is a crying selfie-message that the woman broadcast before the deed. FB left it up, but had already unfortunately long since removed the hanging broadcast.

The particulars of the situation are as follows:
This 30yo woman lived upstairs in an attached apartment to her 70yo granny's house. She was depressed and had recently broken up with her Korean boyfriend.

She did some shallow cutting on one wrist and wrote "I Love You" in her blood next to the window. She then rigged up some half-assed noose made of a scarf, a dog leash, and some sort of electrical cord, started her live feed, and hanged herself at the window just above her bed.

Details are unclear as to how long she was hanging. The live feed def stopped before it was finished. At some point a neighbor saw it on her FB feed and ran over and told granny to go upstairs and check on the girl. The door was locked, so granny got the postman from the street and he helped her hammer the doorknob off. By this pint the girl had been hanging at least 10-15 minutes and possibly as long as a couple of hours. Stone dead in any case.

The second video I am uploading below is an actual video of the hanging feed on her cell phone. The hanging image itself is fully censored, but you can clearly see all of her movements. She appears to put on one hell of a dance, jerking all around. She's still upright at the end of the news clip When granny, the postman, and the rescue workers arrived, however, she had already sagged down to a partial suspension position on her knees. A graphic provided by one of the news agencies shows a drawing of her final position as reported by the rescue workers. Not sure whether she sagged before she died or after, but one of the rescue teams included a photo of the big puddle on her bed where she clearly emptied her bladder after dropping to the partial suspension.

I'll keep looking for more. Most of this stuff is censored. But I've been known to be resourceful from time to time and will do my best. Perhaps Annihilator can help too. He's usually very good with Thai cases.

I found this case and even if it's well known and easy to find, surprisingly I don't remember having seen here it.

Jessica J, 37, from Mississippi was found hanged from her letter box. It's belived it could be a murder but I think it was never solved and classed as a suicide.
