What I find curious is that women in these places (India, Pakistan, Middle East etc), despite all the repression they suffer, there are few who move to other countries to get out of this hard life.

For every female suicide in India there are almost 2 male suicides (16 and 26).
In most countries male/female suicide ratio is between 3 and 5. In my country its 6.5.
This is real indication who is "second-class citizens" and who is suffering more abuse

Not the best set, but new here. Most of my sources are quarantined and not venturing out to the ghettos to photograph suicide victims at this time, LOL.

This was a 22 year old woman in Bolivia who hung herself in her one-room apartment, using a bedsheet tied to the rafter. I have some antemortem images and one cut-down postmortem. It omits her face and legs, which is a bit unusual for hanging pics. Typically they take pains to avoid photos of postmortem urination, but this one decided to focus right in on it.

Yes, same as many before her and many after her yet to come, I suspect.

I wonder what it is you derive from pointing it out so often. I can sort of see drawing attention to it if it is difficult to discern due to lighting or camera quality. Asking a question for verification makes some sense to me, I suppose.

But the urine stain in this case, for example, is unmistakably obvious to anyone looking at the photo. Why point it out when everyone can clearly see it anyway?
