In Puerto Plata yesterday morning (22nd August 2018), 24 year old E.R.C. hanged herself with a television cable in her home. 'E', who was studying psychology, was found by her sister.

Oh, is that her? I saw the middle photo in a news article, I think yesterday, but didn't put 2 + 2 together. I should've realised because of the tv cable as that was mentioned in the news article! 51yo woman hung herself from a bridge. It was her 7th suicide attempt and it appears she was not interrupted this time. Depression was cited as the cause. Scene examination report from the medical team confirmed that there were no signs of unexpected violence anywhere on her body. The drop was approximately 2.5 meters, the ligature mark corresponded to a suicidal hanging, there was blood from both of her ears as well as her nose, and the presence of feces was noted in her underpants. |
