Also realized that I accidentally cut and pasted the police quotation above, so it is in Indonesian rather than English. Here is the translation:

"Believe this is a case of pure suicide by hanging with no outside interference, based on the visual inspection of the scene and the corpse. Tongue is protruding and bitten, fingers partly clenched, toes pointing downward, and front of shorts wet with urine of the victim. These are all typical signs in hanging suicide."

Third letter:
place me in paramita (i dont know what that is)
buy me a white colored casket
cremate me as soon as possible
Do not tell this to my middle school and junior high school friends.
Mom please close your practice (could be a business or she could be a doctor?) until after Eid Mubarak (15 of june)
Do not place white flag in the house (it is customary for indonesian to put a white or yellow flag at home of a deceased)
Do not show to people that i give up.

So this suicide has been discussed among many indonesians. She is a very smart girl who choose to commit suicide because she can't get into the school that she wants.

As someone who was raised to academically excel, getting high marks are expected to be the norm. Getting low ones will surely be depressing unless you see and realize immediately that grades are not always the standard for measuring how good you are overall, not just as a student but also as a person.

Another suicide that took place less than 24 hours after the previous one in the same region of Indonesia. Also a high school girl, though this one allegedly hung herself over a spat with her parents about a motorbike that she wanted.

Postmortem photos are all regrettably censored in some way, but I am hoping that if I post them here someone may find uncensored ones.

Her family had already cut her down when the police arrived, but the news article included the following statement to confirm the ruling:

"The results of the examination by Kanigoro Community Health Center and the Blitar Police Identification Team were not found any signs of physical violence that caused the death. But only found signs of people hanging themselves such as tongue sticking out and bitten, salivating, blood from the nose, there are traces of rope on the neck, and fluid and dung from the genitals and anus."

I could only find censored images too. I did find an unwatermarked photo of the notepad. Also an unwatermarked + wider shot of the noose image. Plus a couple of more images of the girl alive.

welcome to Indonesia, a shithole of nation where there are kids as young as under 10 years old riding motorcycle, cause their parents let them and none of the police officers enforce the laws. Indonesia have some of the dumbest and uneducated people compared to other people in the world.
