Yeah, though for as public as it was, there are disappointingly few photos available of her hanging. I have been looking for 2 days and these two that soares found were the best I've seen.

Teenaged couple did the deed from a tree. Thanks to mort999 for tipping me to the set. He opined (and I concur) that because the girl is fully suspended and the guy is only partially, it is highly likely that he lifted her up and then dropped himself while she was still dancing.

Reports indicate that their relationship was proscribed by one or both families and this was their solution. The little shit is soooo disproportionately important when you're young and stupid.

as they are tied to different branches, I think they used equal hanks of rope and his branch is lower.

Sure, but as there is nothing for her to have stood upon in order to get her feet that far off the ground, he pretty much had to have lifted her as she placed the noose around her neck. Then he simply slumped for a partial suspension as we often see around here.

The only possible alternative is that they both literally -jumped- off the branch, but that clearly wasn't the case.
