20 year old hung herself in her bedroom. According to the report, she wrote a fairly lengthy suicide letter, put her favorite album on repeat in the cd player, placed her house and car keys next to the note, and then changed into a fresh set of clothes to die in.

Then, due to "the mechanics of death" (as the article phrased it) she promptly pissed in her clean jeans and kicked a shoe off during the final agonies of strangulation.

Probably unconscious in less than 15 seconds, with the last 7 of those being sort of a woozy hazy blackout-drunk feeling of confusion. Then dead about 2 minutes later, but not having felt most of it.

Not much time to change your mind with a hanging like that, with all the pressure on the carotid. Sort of like a pinpoint version of getting the sleeper hold from the Hulkster's pythons.

Pretty common in hanging suicides that the feet touch the floor, strangely.
