An employee of Indo-Thai management services (where she worked a desk job as an airline employee) hanged herself on Friday in Jaipur. The woman who hails from Sikkim did not leave any suicide note. What makes her suicide more intriguing is the fact she did the act in front of a mirror.
The police received the information of the incident from the landlord.
According to the police, Pavitra Chettri lived in a rented house in Saraswati Nagar, Jawahar Nagar Circle and worked as a Customer Service Agent in Indo-Thai management services.
On Friday morning, the 26-year-old did not open the door as usual. The landlord found this strange and when he took a look from the window, he saw her hanging from the ceiling fan.
Pavitra stood on a chair and used a dupatta to set a noose on which she hanged herself. Right in front of her was a mirror.
Seeing this, he started shouting and several neighbours came running to witness the shocking scene. The landlord informed the police, who found her dead body hanging in front of the mirror.

Forensics were also called for a thorough investigation of the scene.

Her body has been sent for post mortem and her family has been informed.

Nice find, nice looking lady, what a pity. Quite intriguing she hanged herself in front of a mirror, she must have seen herself being strangled for the first few seconds... one wonders what went through her mind!
