This was a homicidal double-hanging occurring in Russia all the way back in 1986. My details are a bit sketchy, but I will provide what I can. The image quality is rough because they were screen shots from an old documentary. Still very much worth posting, I think.

Both of these young women were allegedly robbed, raped, and then killed by a small gang of bandits operating in the area. The method of dispatch in both cases was asphyxiation by strangulation resulting from being hanged on doorknobs.

The perpetrators were eventually caught and imprisoned.

While it's well stretched, any breakage or separation of the vertebrae likely occurred post-mortem. Awesome find!

I can't read the text.. nor can i translate it as the text is rasterized and can't be selected.
Still, all i could manage to understand was that she checked into a Guest house to hang herself... That's the explanation of the pink bag and a rather neat and tidy room.
She wasn't exactly packing for her afterlife !
